The Jewish Day School, (JDS) of the Lehigh Valley, has
provided children with an
outstanding education for more than 50 years. From primary kindergarten through 8th grade, students benefit from a well-rounded curriculum that builds a strong foundation in
mathematics, social studies, literature, writing, Hebrew language, and Jewish Studies.
All students are instructed in our state-
of-the-art science lab and in our fully equipped computer lab. Students
gain hands-on experience that will prove invaluable in their high school studies and beyond. JDS students receive an excellent liberal arts education, which includes music and art instruction as an integral part of their education. Students learn independent research skills through the library science curriculum.
The school’s program encompasses
physical education and wellness. In
addition, after-school clubs and programs broaden the learning experience. As a community school, JDS offers a skills-oriented, culturally-rich Judaic and Hebrew language program that serves Jewish children of all affiliations, backgrounds and beliefs.
Our students consistently score well above national norms on the ERB
standardized tests that are offered by many private schools throughout the country.
