Small Nurturing Classes

Small classes enable each child to succeed to his or her highest potential. The school boasts a teacher-student ratio of 1 to 5, with the average class size ranging from 10-12 students.

This unique setting allows for individualized attention by our highly qualified teachers and specialists. All teachers and teacher aides are certified by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Many faculty members have advanced degrees and/or dual certification.

Our small class sizes, as well as a variety of special events, give our students wonderful opportunities to work together. Students form lasting friendships and relationships with each other and with their teachers. There is a true sense of family at the JDS. Students relate to peers, teachers and administrators in a meaningful way.
